RFA Dewdale 1941 - 1959

As Landing Ship Gantry.
GRT 8265. Built Cammell Laird 1941. 8 cyl H&W B&W diesel.
Completed as LSG. In action during the North Africa landings when she shot down at least two JU88s. Present at the re-occupation of Greece and the Malaya landings. Reconverted to tanker at Portsmouth 1946/7. Sold for scrap 1959.
